Each unit is completely
disassembled and cleaned to allow for inspection of entire unit. Arc uses
the finest CVS computer controlled precision diamond grinding on all C.V.
housings, races and cages to maintain rigid OEM internal geometric specifications,
or replaced with new (U.S. made) Rockford Parts. Center shafts are tested
for run-out to insure full radius straightness and replaced when necessary.
All two piece shafts are replaced with a solid one. New steel balls are
installed to insure exact fit.
New Rockford boots that remain flexible and resist splitting under extreme
hot and cold temperatures and oeitker clamps are installed on every unit.
Essential hardware including dust shields, slingers and nuts are replaced
with new OEM quality parts as required. The threads are chased and splines
pre-checked for easy installation. The unit is remanufactured to meet or
exceed OEM specifications.
